The Asahi Robocco BeerBot automatically opens cans of your favorite brew then pours you a perfect tall mug of the frosty stuff. The robot stores up to six cans of beer in its refrigerated belly, then dispenses them into a glass mug when you’re ready for a drink.
The Asahi Robocco BeerBot was originally the product of a contest the beer-maker ran in Japan, but now these "gently used" robots have been reconditioned and will retail for $799 each.
Robocco is designed for Japanese size (350ml) cans, but it tested with American-sized (355ml) cans and it worked just fine. We don't know whether it will work with every foreign can, so keep this in mind before you buy. Having the proper can height is the most important factor in opening the can.
