MPIO FL500 DAP

MPIO has unveiled the FL500 DAP. Shaped as a triangle it has 1 or 2 GB of internal memory and can playback MP3 and WMA with support for DRM 10.

This is an MP3 player with analog features—it has a rotary dial for easy, intuitive function switching. It offers music playback, FM radio, radio recording.

The onboard Lithium Ion battery has enough juice for 15 hours of playback. The FL500 connects via USB to its host and is compatible with Windows and Mac OS as well.

The MPIO FL500 DAP measures 35.8×65.5×15.3mm and weighs 23 grams. It is bundled with a neck strap and belt clip, it goes on sale in Japan for 6980 Yen ($ 55) for 1GB and 8980 Yen ($ 72) for 2GB.
