Mattel introduced a new line of Barbie MP3 players that come with their own accessories and link up to the new Barbie Girls web site. Designed to look like Barbie dolls, the four-and-a-half-inch tall MP3 players have 512MB of memory and an expandable miniSD slot for up to a 2GB memory card.


Cassette MP3 Player

Cassette MP3 player is a 256MB MP3 player in a cassette-tape form factor. It's shaped like a cassette and goes into to your cassette player, but it also behaves like a cassette, user-interface-wise. It has sensors in the spindles so you can use your cassette player's "fast forword" and "rewind controls" to jump from song to song. Click the "record" button on your cassette player, and it records audio data coming into your cassette recorder.

The MP3 player can Random playback, One Tune playback and so on. It conserves power by studying the time patterns of usage and thus not heating the seat when the toilet is least used.

The luxury phone maker Gresso have expanded into the MP3 player market. The Gresso Symphonia is available in African Blackwood like the phone, white or pink gold or a combination of African Blackwood and white or pink gold. The Gresso Symphonia features one gigabyte of internal flash memory and supports Mp3, WMA, ASF and OGG music formats and has a built-in FM Tuner.


$5 Cereal Box MP3 Player

These MP3 player is one of the cheapest, it costs about $5. It supports MP3 and WMA tracks. Available in two different colors (black/white), this compact player has a unique mini cereal box inspired design. The weak spot about this 'toy' is that it can hold up only a few songs.
