Lenovo ThinkPad Reserve Edition

Lenovo has unveiled ThinkPad Reserve Edition laptop, encased in premium leather. The Reserve Edition is based on the recently released 12.1-inch Lenovo ThinkPad X61s reportedly and comes with executive-class service.

Lenovo ThinkPad Reserve Edition features 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB of RAM and 160GB hard drive plus a 80GB external HDD is also included for backups. The notebook has a battery life of about seven hours, and comes with Windows Vista Ultimate and Microsoft Office Small Business 2007.

The package comes with a 24-hour dedicated telephone support. Lenovo says it will fly out to you if you’re in a major city to fix any problems you might have with the product within 4 hours.

You can buy the ThinkPad Reserve Edition from Lenovo by invitation only for $5,000.
