The Scuderia is the latest in a long line of lightweight Ferrari specials, and follows in the tyre tracks of the exceptional 360 Challenge Stradale. The Ferrari 430 Scuderia was unveiled at Frankfurt IAA by none other than the 7 time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher. The unveiling almost got cancelled because the audience was too excited and it was difficult to keep them off the stage.

The Ferrari 430 Scuderia looses around a hundred kilograms and gains almost 30 hp (now has 510 hp). The weight reduction is done by removing some of the "unnecessary" equipment and the use of lighter materials for some of the parts.
