Ontario's snow globe was built in two months for roughly $200,000 and debuted in January during ski season in Barrie.
There are four actors appear inside the two-storey globe at a time, portraying winter tourism scenes including ice fishing, spa visits, hockey playing and ice-wine tasting.
Tourism officials call the snow globe the world's largest, but they haven't made it official. The globe submitted to Guinness World Records, but was told it would have to be a "true replica" to claim the title. One problem: It's not filled with water, like the hand-held versions.
