Samsung Environmentally Friendly Phones

Samsung showcased their environmentally friendly phones: E200, W510, F268 at Green Zone in OR@S(Olympic Rendezvous @ Samsung) during the Olympic Games in Beijing.

The Samsung E200 is made from bio-plastic which contains natural plant-based materials extracted from plant such as corn.



The Samsung W510 is Samsung's first mobile phone made from bio-plastic without any heavy metals, such as Lead, Mercury, and Cadmium in the production.



The Samsung F268 is the first BFR(Brominated Flame Retardant)/PVC free mobile phone with an alerts function that reminds people to unplug their charger once the battery is fully charged.
